The councilor representing Abaranje\/Okerube,  Hon Sherifat Oyinkansola Idowu has launched an NGO that would see to the upkeep of indigents children in her community and beyond.<\/p>\n

At the launching of the non – governmental organizations which coincides with her birthday, she also  donated a borehole as a way of showing appreciation to her people for the support over the years.<\/p>\n

The event which paraded the who is who in Igando -Ikotun politics includes; Hon Jimoh Ajao the Asiwaju of Igando\/ikotun,Hon Morenike Adesina Williams chairman Igando\/ikotun ,His Royal Majesty Oba Gbadabiu Azeez Asiwaju Onikotun of Ikotun,Baale of Abaranje,Baale of Okerube.Alh Noah Obabiyi,Jp Arike John,Mr Ajifowobaje,Mr Akinola Oladimeji  (ward chairman),Mrs Balogun Funmilayo (woman leader), political leaders and executive members,ward members,community leaders,religious leaders and all the good people of Abaranje\/Okerube , family,friends,well wishers and admirers.<\/p>\n

In her words ” Birthdays are special days to thank God and reflect on ones life. So , for me, it is not only about merrymaking but should  also be about giving back to the community. I, in all sincerity thanking almighty God for the gift of life and His blessings over me,  and also everyone that supported me in one way or the other in actualising this dream. More are still coming”,she said.<\/p>\n
