It will be recalled this medium published a story on the 26th of may,2021 on the subject: Ojodu chairmanship: Layeni’s results not authentic ” quoting West africa examination council as source.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n But Layeni’s campaign organization (during APC’s Primaries) in a connivance with her Godfather, Hon.Abiodun Faleke condemned our report and published series of rejoinders with no substantial facts to back their claims.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has clarified the authenticity of the December 1979 result being paraded by a chairmanship aspirant in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos state, Alhaja Layeni Olufunmilayo Kafayat, saying that the certificate is not genuine.<\/p>\n In a response dated May 25, 2021 to an inquiry with respect to the authenticity of Layeni\u2019s result, the examination body said the result did not emanate from it.<\/p>\n In the said result, Layeni claimed to have made C6 in English Language, C5 in Government, C4 in Economics, C4 in Mathematics, D7 in Biology, C5 in Commerce, and C3 in Accounts.<\/p>\n The examination body simply replied: \u201csource document not from WAEC.\u201d<\/p>\n In a related development, the deputy\u00a0 commissioner of police , force criminal intelligence & investigation department,annex, Alagbon wrote the examination body on the same subject: ‘VERIFICATION OF RESULTS’ On the 9th of June the examination body replied the police ” …Upon receipt of your request on the subject matter, the council examined it’s records to ascertain the authenticity or otherwise of the certificate, as attached.
