Alhaji Isa Egbeyemi making the inaugural speech shortly after the new executives of Ifako Harmony Estate Resident Association were sworn in on Saturday.
\nDespite the early morning downpour members of IHERA gathered at the estate gate, venue of the event to witness the new executives which include Alhaji Isa Egbeyemi as Chairman, Pastor Babatunde Dada as Vice Chairman, Barr Babatunde Badejo \u2013 General Secretary, Mr. Jide Adeyemo \u2013 Welfare, Secretary.<\/p>\n
Others include Mr. Chuks Enete \u2013 Treasurer, Mr. Naba Kelly Henry \u2013 Assistant General Secretary, Ms. Omowunmi Akinlagun \u2013 Financial Secretary and Mr. Sunkanmi Ajao \u2013 Public Relations Officer.<\/p>\n

The Chairman in his inaugural speech said \u201cMy great and wonderful fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and youths in Harmony Estate. With every sense of humility, I welcome you all to this event. A day the Estate is once again officially handing over the affairs of this community to the hands of God Almighty, with my team and I to serve the people of Harmony Estate, as a will of God, to consolidate the present achievements of the immediate past and previous administrations\u201d.<\/p>\n
Alhaji Egbeyemi on behalf of the new executives averred that \u201cMy team and I intend to run a transparent, accountable, reliable and responsible administration. We are also promising to carry along the people, irrespective of tribe, social or religious affiliations without infringing on Harmony estate\u2019s established policies as regards guidelines, rules and regulations\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe promise to run a functional, objective and all-encompassing listening administration, to the benefit of all inhabitants including visitors as we intend to continually take this Estate to unprecedented heights by God\u2019s grace\u201d.<\/p>\n
The new Chairman also promised that \u201cWe will follow the already established progressive template of our predecessors to maintain our infrastructures as well as add more values to them for improved service delivery\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will strive to continue the development of the Estate and we believe with high hope that DUES and LEVIES will be PROMPTLY PAID, as it is our sole source of revenue for development\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will identify projects that will be cost effective, and also put measures in place that will further enhance our safety and security in accordance with the modern-day digital arrangements\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cHarmony Estate is our home and our pride to which we will guide jealously and ensure no recklessness in attitudes, behaviours, and lawlessness with assurance of equal rights, justice and fairness, adequate security to lives and properties\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis will be an administration of the people by the people and for the people in its true sense and meaning\u201d.<\/p>\n
He also appealed to all stakeholder to support the new executive \u201cWe are confident and proud of the elders we have, to which we shall always consult for their wisdom and advice\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also counting on our past administration\u2019s support in their pool of experiences of running successful office a legacy we will protect by God\u2019s grace\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also banking on the support of our committed, caring and concerned African wives, mothers and sisters in the Estate for their full support\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur wonderful energetic, vibrant and dedicated youth\u2019s support on this journey to better life and living will also be needed dearly to run this administration of continuity\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will also be delighted to enjoy the best and usual support and cooperation of the already established committees as wingers in service much more than ever before and we pray God almighty will reward them all in their endeavours for this selfless humanitarian service to Harmony estate\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cFurther, I want to appeal to us all, that we see ourselves as ambassadors of this promising estate and to act sincerely for correctness, beneficial vital information disseminations, as well as maintain good neighborhood to be our brothers\u2019 keepers at all times in love, peace and harmony\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe pray to God almighty in his might and mercy for his full support to us all, in sound health, wisdom, long life and prosperity. We pray for God\u2019s favour to achieve success in this new administration, as he has done to our predecessors, as man alone cannot do anything without the help of God, because only He has power to do all things. On behalf of my exco members, I thank you all for your patience\u201d.<\/p>\n
