Obama\u00a0<\/b>DMW, Nigerian music executive and close associate of Davido, award-winning musician, has passed away.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\nObama, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, reportedly died of heart failure at a hospital in the Lekki axis of Lagos state on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The deceased was said to have driven himself to the hospital in the early hours of the day after experiencing intense breathing difficulty.<\/p>\n

He was said to have been admitted but breathed his last a few hours after.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\nUntil his death, the talent manager was the founder of Obama Music Worldwide\u00a0(OMW), a record label.<\/p>\n

Before OMW, the deceased floated \u2018Holla At Your Boy\u2019 after his return from Canada but the record label collapsed after the death of his partner.<\/p>\n

He would later link up with Davido after the label folded up and started pulling the weight of fame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nObama had last year signed Ayanfe, a fast-rising artiste, to his record label.<\/p>\n

Tributes have started pouring in for the deceased as news of his death continues to spread.<\/p>\n

In an\u00a0Instagram post<\/a><\/b>, C Blvck, Nigerian singer, shared a picture of Obama with an emotional note which read \u201c\u2026 nothing dey this life @obama_dmw whyyyyyyy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chibuike Igbokwe, South African-based Nigerian singer better known as White Lion, also\u00a0wrote<\/a><\/b>: \u201cRealist @obama_dmw forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\nOn his part, Perruzi wrote on his\u00a0Instagram Stories<\/a><\/b>: \u201cLord have mercy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davido is yet to react to the news as of the time of this report.<\/p>\n

The development comes less than a year after Davido also\u00a0lost<\/a><\/b>\u00a0Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan, his bodyguard of 11 years better known as TJ.<\/p>\n
