The Lead Visioner of Lagos4Lagos Movement, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor), has paid a courtesy visit to the widow of Dr. Augustine Arogundade, the late chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Lagos at her Aboru residence on Sunday 29th, 2021.<\/p>\n
Dr. Arogundade died on June 2nd, 2020 after a brief illness.<\/p>\n
His widow, Mrs. Janet Arogundade while speaking during the visit, chastised the leaders of the party and the current council leadership for neglecting her and her children after the demise of her husband.<\/p>\n
In her words, \u201cToday is the most happiest day of my life. Since the demise of my husband, it has been tough and rough. It has a sad experience to cope with life. They neglected us. Meanwhile, immediately he died, all these people promised heaven on earth but never fulfill any of their promises. What a life!”<\/p>\n
“I have sold most of the properties I worked for all my life for the continued sponsorship of our children schooling abroad. My late husband enrolled them 6months to his death. After he died, the school authority nearly deported them because we couldn\u2019t meet up with the financial obligations but I give glory to God. The kids and myself are working so hard to pursue this dream.”<\/p>\n
“I’m not saying my family should be the council’s burden but a bit of help, assistance and human concerns matter a lot and goes long away. I am happy with Jandor, help is on the way because he is a very good person base on my findings.”<\/p>\n
Jandor saluted the courage and boldness exhibited by Mrs Arogundade by hosting the group.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/alimoshotv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG20210829155954-300x225.jpg\")

He said it might not be an easy task but expressed confidence that come May 2023, he will be a major force to reckon with in Alimosho Federal Constituency, adding that he will be a rallying point in the area once he becomes the governor of Lagos State God’s willing.<\/p>\n
“People have told us several scary stories about the power that be in Lagos as regards who gets what and when. With all they can do to us, to cut short our dreams, we are so determined and it is only God that can determine everything.”<\/p>\n
“We have refused to follow the same old pattern of going to see one man about our ambition, no. We believed that visiting you people is a better approach to get our aspirations achieved. If you are being installed as governor by one man, same man can remove you anytime he so wishes, and these are the reasons we are not getting it right in the state yet,” he said.<\/p>\n
An Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA chairmanship aspirant in the last council elections in the state, Otunba Olukayode Akintomo stated that being part of the Lagos4Lagos Movement was an home coming for him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHaving scrutinized the group’s agenda and plans for Lagos State, I did not hesitate to collapsed my structure within Alimosho Constituency 01 into the movement. I believe strongly that the narrative needs to be changed for us to have a free and Lagos for all. Lagos should not be working for few, it should be everyone.”<\/p>\n
“This idea of imposing candidates on the populace is not the best way to go, this things need a stiff resistance.”<\/p>\n
