Justice M. L. Abimbola, on his appointment as a Life Bencher by the Body of Benchers.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In a statement released in Abuja over the weekend, Adekunle described the appointment of Justice Abimbola as &#8220;well deserved considering his landmark achievements as the Chief Judge of Oyo State from August 2014 till date&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Continuing, Adekunle commended the Body of Benchers for making the right choice in the appointment of Justice Abimbola. He noted that the elevation of the Chief Judge of Oyo State to the rank of a Life Bencher is &#8220;a testament to Abimbola&#8217;s integrity, credibility and outstanding performance&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Abimbola, who is well on his way to becoming the longest serving Chief Judge in the history of Oyo State, was appointed a Life Bencher alongside 11 others on September 15, 2020 by the Body of Benchers, the highest body in Nigeria&#8217;s legal profession.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eminent Citizen of Oyo State and Public Intellectual, Prince Adetayo Adekunle has felicitated with the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon.
