As we mark World Health Day 2025<\/a>, themed “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures,” let’s remember that investing in maternal and newborn health is both a moral imperative and a cornerstone of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Sadly, many women and newborns lose their lives daily due to preventable complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. No mother should risk her life to give birth, and no newborn should be denied a fair chance at survival.<\/p>\n
