The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has reaffirmed his administration\u2019s commitment to improving the health and overall well-being of residents through people-centred programmes and accessible healthcare services.<\/p>\n

Akinpelu stated this while speaking at the free medical outreach organised to commemorate his first anniversary in office, where he described the initiative as another demonstration of his administration\u2019s commitment to bringing quality healthcare closer to the people.<\/p>\n

The chairman noted that good health remains the foundation of a prosperous society, stressing that financial constraints should not prevent residents from accessing essential healthcare services. He said the outreach was designed to provide residents with access to basic medical services at no cost.<\/p>\n

The two-day medical outreach offers a range of free services, including blood pressure and blood glucose screening, tuberculosis and hepatitis screening, HIV counselling and testing, malaria testing, eye screening, and general medical consultations. Akinpelu urged residents to take full advantage of the opportunity, emphasising the importance of early detection in preventing and managing health conditions.<\/p>\n

He commended the healthcare professionals, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders whose contributions made the programme possible, describing their dedication and service to humanity as commendable.<\/p>\n
