OLAYIWOLA RASHEED JEBBA HAMILTON CONGRATULATES ABDULGANIYY AKOLAWOLE EGUNJOBI, SENDS MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE TO ALL HIS SUPPORTERS
I wish to congratulate the winner of the Chairmanship primary election of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, AbdulGaniyy Akolawole Egunjobi and join millions of party faithful to give glory to Allah for granting us a peaceful Chairmanship candidate nomination process.
In every democratic contest there must be a winner, and as far as our Chairmanship primary election is concerned, a winner has emerged.
I congratulate these leaders of our party for their contributions to the internal democracy of our great party. I look forward working with them to ensure that the great promise of our party is actualised and together, we lead All Progressives Congress (APC) to Victory on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
I thank our leader. A capable, respected, and inspired National leader; one of the best Governors Nigeria has ever produced, His Excellency Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu.
I commend our party leadership headed by the cerebral State Caretaker Committee Chairman of our great party, Mr Tunde Balogun, and those who played a part in the Electoral processes culminating in the primary election .
I appreciate in a special way, our leader, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly for his exemplary leadership. I also commend my father, Chief Safari Adaranijo, who had taken me as his son and supported me in more ways than I had imagined.
To my Guardian, Dr Samuel Babatunde Adejare who showed unparalled commitment to my vision to build and exemplify the capacity inherent in me as youth, and create a society where youths can aspire to occupy any office without facing any form of discrimination, thank you so much!
My profound gratitude goes to the maker of Jebba Hamilton in Agege polity. The Erstwhile Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Sheik Jubreel Ayodeji AbdulKareem for his fatherly love, blessings, and wisdom that he shared with me on this journey. God bless you, abundantly, sir.
My special gratitude goes to my campaign organization and the various support groups and individuals within and outside the Ward who keyed into our vision to position the Ward towards the path of developmental prosperity. We chose the slogan “Divine Mandate” because we know that God is the ultimate determiner of destiny and indeed he guided us through this journey and granted us safety as we campaigned across the five (5) zones of the Ward.
To all party faithfuls who participated in the election processes, and my friends, well wishers, supporters and stakeholders, I give you special thanks and appreciation for your commitment and support.
In a very special way, I wish to appreciate my beloved father, Sheik Olayiwola Habeeblah Hamzat, the Chief Imam of Agege Kingdom, my wife, siblings and in-laws for their love, support and prayers. My life and political successes would not have been possible without you.
Even though we opted out of the race to sue for peace in order to show that we practiced what we preaches, we won the hearts of the people because we don’t play politics of do or die. I wish to state that my desire to seek ways to address the developmental challenges of our people and ameliorate the sufferings of hundreds of our Constituents who work day and night to feed their families and actualize their personal dreams remain unshaken.
As our party, All Progressives Congress (APC) goes into a very critical election which will determine our collective future as Agegeians, I wish to remind Agegeians that All Progressives Congress (APC) remains the best choice for the Local Government Area.
God is responsible for the affairs of all, He gives power to whom He wants. We submit to His divine will at all times.
