The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi Isolo local government area of Lagos State, Otunba Kehinde Adeola Almoroof Oloyede, as well as residents of Ladipo in the council area have commended Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu for the reconstruction of the Ajishegiri street, describing it as “unprecedented” in the history of the local government.
Speaking with journalists after a brief stop over at the site, the candidate, popularly known as Kendoo, was full of praises for the Governor stressing that the reconstruction will spur up economic activities in the local government.
In the words of Otunba Oloyede, “I am extremely happy and thankful to our amiable governor, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwoolu, for listening to the cry of the people and ordering the repair of this road. Upon the completion, our people will enjoy smooth transportation of their goods and services, reduce travel and traffic hours as well as improve business activities for the people that have their businesses within this locality.”
He continues that “may God continue to bless and strengthen our governor and may God continue to give him the wisdom to navigate the ship of Lagos to a greater heights.”
The candidate also praised former governors of the state for laying the foundation of development in the state, describing them as icons who have served the state meritoriously and posterity will remember them for good.
He posited that from what is going on in the local government, via road rehabilitation, he maintained he is confident that the governor is a listening one, with the interest of the people at heart.
According to him ” aside Governor Sanwoolu, kudos must also be extended to our former leaders, especially iconic Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who laid the foundation for a new Lagos, he will be in the mind of the people for his administrative ingenuity and fatherly roles.”
Resident of the area, Mr Nurain Ajishegiri, equally expressed appreciation for the good job being done by the Lagos State governor in the local government as well as the state in general.
In his own comment, Prince Abiodun Adenle said “I am thankful on behalf of residents to our governor for the renovation on going in Ajishegiri street. This will be a big relief to us that commute on this road daily. This is a superb project from Mr Governor. Governor Sanwoolu has blazed the trail again. We are appreciative of this wonderful project.”
