The All progressives congress in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA held it’s last LGA meeting of the current and outgoing Local government administration on the 14th,July 2021.
The meeting which was well attended held at Ipaja Mini Stadium (Fela Field) by Party Leaders, Chairman of the Local Council and all his cabinet members with the legislative arms of the council and party members from all the 5 electoral wards in the LCDA .
The colourful meeting had the party members adorned themselves in different party attires of the Chairmanship candidate of the party in the 24th July local government election in Lagos State ,Chief(Mrs) Bola Sobowale (JP) and his running mate Otunba Oladipo Oluwaloni ( OLO) with various groups within the party embracing one another.
In his opening remarks the Caretaker Chairman of the Party at the LCDA level, Hon.Bamidele Ojo ( JP) thanked all the party members for their political tolerance and maturity and reiterated the fact that in the LCDA there is no factionalisaton in APC ” we are one big family in Ayobo – Ipaja APC and we remain one indivisible family, our goal is to ensure Victory for all our candidates come Saturday July 24th ,2021 beginning from the chairman and his running mate as well as our 5 Councilorship candidates ” .
He opined that it is only in the Spirit of Peace and Unity that we can forge ahead as a party . He enjoined all to put behind the just concluded Primaries and the intrigues that was involved and join hands together to move the party to an enviable level .
In his own words the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Hon. Sakiru Adisa Yusuff advocates for peace and unity as the election is fast approaching and assured Party members that the incoming Chairman ,Chief( Mrs ) Bola Sobowale (JP) will continue the good legacies of the present administration .
The present cabinet members as well as the present Legislative Council members were presented to the mammoth crowd in what looks like their farewell presentation.
The highlight of the LGA Meeting was the presentation of the Candidates in the forthcoming LGA elections in Lagos State to the party faithfuls beginning with the Chairmanship Candidate of the party and his running mate as well as all the Councilorship Candidates from the 5( Political wards A-E ) of the LCDA.
The Chairmanship candidate, Chief Mrs Bola Sobowale (JP) appreciated the party members for their support during the Primaries and seek their continued support in ensuring success of the party in the forthcoming local government elections.
Those in attendance at the meeting were the Apex Leaders – Chief Mrs Nike Oluwole,Hon Dele Ayinde, Alhaji Yusuff Sakiru, Hon. Fatai Garuba, Hon.Abiodun Agbaje Secretary to the Local Government & one of the Aspirants in the just concluded Primaries of the party in the LCDA .
