The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Chief Mrs. Bola Shobowale has Inaugurated the 5th Legislative Council of the Local government area, the event which had in attendance the vice Chairman of the local government, Otunba Oladipupo Oluwaloni, the management team , and Political leaders.
In her speech,” The position you are assuming today requires higher responsibilities to your various wards so that the electorates can feel the impact of governance at all times.”
She said further ” As the representatives of the people at the grass roots, the electorates have placed so much trust in you and they believe in your competence and capabilities. Hence, you should never betray such trust so that the citizens will have more faith and hope in our party to reduce the rate of poverty in the society.”
“I wish to remind you that you are privileged to be the anointed candidates amongst so many qualified members of our party, therefore you should never betray the trust our party repose in you,” she said.
The newly inaugurated members,however, in a unanimous voice selected the principal officers of the 5th legislative council as Danmola Monsuru Oladipupo made the leader of the house,the position of deputy leader was given to Usman Mueez Abayomi, Majority leader, Abimboye Adegbenga Ayodeji, while Babatunde Safari was chosen as the chief whip.
