The commander, Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Saheed Olayinka Egbeyemi, has won TGN Media Network’s prestigious award for good governance in crime control.
TGN Media Network, are the publishers of popular online tabloid, The Gazelle News.com; a strong standing player in the Nigerian media space.
The RRS commander, in the words of the management team of the media outfit, emerged the winner of the coveted emblem, after a comprehensive critique of his contributions to crime control in Lagos State, dating back to his helmsmanship at the Lagos state taskforce and his current successes as the commander, Rapid Response Squad.
Their words; your immense contributions as an intelligence officer and an administrator, continue to lead to the development of man and high level crime bursting.
Commenting after receiving the award at an elaborate event organized and held at the D’PODIUM international hall, Ikeja, the police chief, acknowledged the Gazelle News’s towering contributions to factful reportage and dedicated the award to all positively striving youths on the streets of Lagos and prayed for their eventual success.
The RRS commander, further encouraged Lagos youths in general not to despair, citing his case as a good example of street to stardom, maintaining that, there was always going to be fruition in positive hustles but never was there gonna be light at the end of the tunnel for unlawful escapades.
