Honourable Member, Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, Hon Kehinde Olaide Joseph, has celebrated constituents, urging them to embrace the noble ideals of selflessness and sanctity of human lives.
Joseph said this in a statement on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in commemoration of the Easter celebration.
The State Lawmaker urged the constituents that this year’s celebration calls for deep sober reflections in line with the mood of our beloved nation, Nigeria.
“It is with mixed feelings that I extended my profound felicitations with you all in this Easter season.
“Permit me to say that this year’s celebration calls for deep sober reflections in line with the mood of our beloved nation, Nigeria”, he said.
The parliamentarian stated that the only begotten Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ laying his life for the redemption of humanity is a big lesson for all, particularly the christians to embrace the noble ideals of selflessness and sanctity of human lives. “As we celebrate, let us remember that we are our brother’s keepers and our patriotic responsibility to make Alimosho, Lagos and Nigeria the abode of our dreams”, he noted.
Speaking further, the grassroot legislator reiterated that it is instructive to underscore the fact that as the 2023 general elections beckon, the people across the length and breadth of the nation should shun politics of division, ethnicity and religion.
“It is our civic duty to elect leaders of our choice through the ballot box for the progress, development and unity of our Constituency, State and Nigeria at large.
“United we stand, divided we fall. However, I am confident that our Constituency, State and Nigeria will surmount her present challenges and emerge strong, more united and stable as an abode and nation where peace, justice and love reign supreme.
“On behalf of my family, I wish you all the good people of Alimosho Constituency II, both at homeland and diaspora, a loudly vigorous and cheerful Easter celebration”, he maintained.
