Ganiyu Olatunji Quadri, the former Sole Administrator of Alimosho local Government Area was born in the 70’s to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Quadri in Agege, Lagos State.
He grew up from an average family like every other kid but with a determination to succeed. He surmounted all the hurdles and continue to thrive with honour. Born a humble person but stubborn to achieve his goals.
Mr. Ganiyu had his primary and secondary education in Agege and later attended the University of Ilorin where he obtained his first degree, Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and his Master Degree in Industrial and Labour Relations, MILR.
As a lover of common good for all, as a student, he participated actively in student activities while in school. He was later to become the President of his faculty Association. He is the Present President of ’93 set Anwar -Ul-Islam College,Old Students Association,Agege , Lagos.One of the oldest school in Lagos State.
This and other position he led well to better the welfare of his constituents then and now. Being a students union leader at a time, his exposure to political administration would later prompt him to join politics which he did in the year 2002. Since then, his presence in larger politics has always been felt all around his political domain.
Mr. Ganiyu is also a successful business man who has been contributing largely to the Nigeria economy through small and medium scale business entrepreneurship. His area of business include, solid mineral, general contract and business development consultancy. He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Qatig Enterprise Nigeria Limited.
He is a man of honour loudly attested to by the generality. His contribution to the society has fetched him alot of award from both government and Non Governmental Organizations. He was adjudged the most outstanding Administrator as the then Sole Administrator of Alimosho Local Government Area.
Mr. Ganiyu Olatunji QUADRI is a member of Rotary Club, Akowonjo, Secretary, National Archery in the School Programme (NASAP) and also a member of Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators.
He is a great lover of people, he is a selfless man and a source of inspiration to many (both old and young). He is fondly called “Obama” by many, he was so nicknamed after the former President Obama of United State due to his humility and piety.
Mr. Ganiyu is happily married with kids.
Mr. Ganiyu Olatunji QUADRI is aspiring to be the next substantive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State in the forthcoming elections.
