The Director Disapora of the Asiwaju Solidarity Movement (ASM), Hon. Olayinka Olasoji organized an inter-faith prayer session towards the 2023 General Elections which is to commence on the 25th of February for the Presidential and National Assembly Elections.
According to Snr. Apostle David Adesiyan, “In the past, pastors and men of God hardly display their political preferences in the public, but today, with the current trend, everybody must be part of the process. As I am standing before you, I have my PVC with me, that shows how serious we should take the Saturday’s election serious. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu must win this, and for this to happen, you and I must play our part with prayers and action by mobilizing people for this election”.
On his part, Imam Isa Onibode said, “Bola Tinubu has paid his dues, he had supported so many people in the past to achieve their aspirations and his track records in Lagos State is there for everyone to see. On the 25th February, 2023, let us all come out in our large numbers to vote for him. He is competent and capable”.
Olasoju in his remarks, “I thank you all for honoring our invitation, may our prayers be answered. This Asiwaju project is important to me, and I want to believe it is important to you as well. We have had 1983, 1993 and this is 2023, we all know what that means, if we do, we must do everything within our means legally to mobilize for our party to ensure a landslide victory for Asiwaju and all our candidates”.
“This election is about our future and a new Nigeria. With what Asiwaju has done in the past, he is the best man for the job and we have been campaigning and doing house-to-house mobilization to pass the message of Jagaban”, he concluded.
