A former speaker of the Lagos state house of Assembly and a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agbowa Ikosi ,Rt. Hon. Jokotola Pelumi has congratulated the Governor of Lagos state ,Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu on his victory at the just concluded gubanatorial polls.
Rt Hon Pelumi in a statement issued on Monday described the Victory of the Governor as a ‘victory well deserved and an attestation of the general acceptability of the Governor by the people”
Rt Hon Pelumi Commended the Governor for his sterling performance in his first term and advised him not to relent now that he has been re-elected for a second term
The Lawyer cum Politician equally rejoiced with the Assembly members elected across the state , especially those of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), urging them to support the Governor in his developmental strides by enacting laws that will ease the Governor’s duty.
According to him ” let me congratulate Governor Sanwoolu for his outstanding victory on Saturday. I must say,his performance in his first term gave him this victory without stress as he defeated his opponents with a wide margin. This is an attestation of his wonderful performance in his first term.
According to the former speaker ,with this overwhelming victory of Mr. Governor , continued positive impact on the people with various people oriented projects and policies will definitely be a continuum.
