The Lagos State Popo Aguda residents of Brazilian descendant set to host the 1st Popo Aguda Frejôn Fiesta on the 7th of April to commemorate this year’s Good Friday.
The event is packaged by the Brazilian Descendant Arts & Culture Association, Lagos and supported by the Lagos State Ministry of Culture & Tourism. In attendance, the cultural event will have the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
According to Asiwaju Popo Aguda, Mr. Charles Bolaji Mendes, “This is an event like no other, that you must not miss. Zip up your boots, get ready to experience world-class cultural activities, music and Brazilian cuisine frejôn amongst others. It is free and open to all to enjoy Good Friday celebration. The 1st Popo Aguda Frejôn Fiesta will be flagged off by the First Lady of Lagos State, a true daughter of Popo Aguda of the Brazilian descendant of Carena Family.”
