Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, had the honour of representing Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat at the Young Managers’ Summit. Organized by the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) at the University of Lagos Multi-Purpose Hall, Akoka, Lagos, the event’s theme was “Diversity, Inclusivity and Equity in the workplace: What Matters to Young Professionals?”
The Honourable Commissioner stated it was a privilege to represent the Deputy Governor and speak on a matter deeply resonating with young professionals. He emphasized that young managers play a crucial role in building workplaces valuing diversity, fostering inclusion, and inspiring productivity, as true leadership lies not just in achieving success but in creating opportunities for others to thrive.
Hon. Ajigbotafe congratulated participants qualified for the 2024 Young Managers’ Competition, encouraging them to envision new solutions and commit to building a better Nigeria and world. He appreciated President/Chairman of the Council, Dr. (Mrs) Christiana Atako, and Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) members for upholding their institute’s integrity and professionalism.
