Lagos State Body of Seriki Hausawa, has commended the Lagos first family, for what, it described as a successful year 2025 (1446 A.H) EID-UL-ADHA celebration put together by the state government.
The event, held at the Pavillion, state house, Marina, with the theme, “My Lord, Make This Land Secure” (Q14:35) and had the first and second family of the state as well as the lagos State executive council members all present; body of permanent secretaries and numerous other guests including members of the Lagos State Body of Seriki Hausawa also attended, the annual celebration, during which a call for unity, peace were echoed, while, special prayers were offered for Lagos and the country at large.
Five Serikis represented the Lagos State Body of Seriki Hausawa at the Lagos State organised Sallah celebration; they include, Sarki of Idi Araba, HRH Alhaji Hassan Abubakar Auyo, Sarki Overall of Alimosho, HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, Sarki of Orile-Agege, HRH Alhaji Aminu Jubirila Abdallah, Sarki of Kuje Amuwo-Odofin, HRH Alhaji Sulaiman Rabiu and Sarki of Alagbado-Oke-Abiye, HRH Abubakar Sadiq.
Lagos State Body of Seriki Hausawa comprises Arewa Community traditional leaders spread across the five administrative divisions of Lagos, including Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe, otherwise known as the IBILE.
