A well-respected Non-Governmental Association in Alimosho Local Government, Friends of Akinpelu, has firmly backed the Akinpelu Johnson campaign group with a significant contribution of souvenirs, packs of edible garri, and more. Additionally, the group provided branded caps, T-shirts, banners, and posters. The materials were presented to Campaign Director General Engr. Adebayo Akande, along with the candidate and vice chairman of the APC for the upcoming July 12 Local Government election.
Led by Yusuf Omobolaji Sulaimon, a sitting councilor in Ward A, the group made a decisive choice to endorse the candidacy of Akinpelu and Adebisi due to their proven track record in government and within the party. Sulaimon has a strong connection with both candidates from their time serving as vice chairmen in the Local Government. He emphasized that this support will significantly enhance the candidates’ prospects in the election. Beyond their donations, the group is actively engaged in door-to-door campaigns, distributing numerous souvenirs to voters throughout Alimosho.
Furthermore, the group has strategically aligned with the Community Development Association and the Community Development Council, expanding their outreach to all major markets in Alimosho Local Government.
Looking ahead to the July 12 Local Government election, Friends of Akinpelu is determined to broaden their campaign efforts, deploying branded souvenirs across the Alimosho Federal Constituency and beyond in support of the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Campaign. Hon. Sulaimon is committed to mobilizing the people of Alimosho vigorously, promising to secure millions of votes for the President’s second term.
Akinpelu Johnson conveyed his sincere gratitude to the group for their strong support and committed to utilizing the materials thoughtfully and effectively.
