Arewa Community APC Lagos has denied apologising to one Timi Joshua as falsely reported in a purported press statement released to the media space on Sunday, 21, September, 2025.
The attention of the Lagos Arewa apex political body was drawn to the misleading news by media practitioners seeking to ascertain its veracity.
Speaking on behalf of the board of trustees, the BOT secretary, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibril Sampam, said, the newsbit did not emanate from Arewa Community APC Lagos but was rather a self serving action by the purveyor of the falsehood.
It will be recalled that, the combined leadership arms and executives of the Arewa Community APC Lagos, had at the conclusion of a reconciliatory meeting held on Friday, 19, September, 2025, released a press statement containing its resolution amongst which was the categorical statement, disowning and disallowing Timi Joshua from falsely parading himself as the official spokesman of the Arewa Community APC Lagos; the statement further disallowed him from interference in any way or under any guise for the Arewa Community APC Lagos State forthwith as he was never authorised by the body nor has he any official ties with it previously
