Arewa Community stakeholders in Lagos and southwest Nigeria, today, held strategic meetings in mile 12, Kosofe Local Government area, Lagos, during which, the northerners renewed a collective pledge to work round the clock again, for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection, come 2027 elections.
The twin-meeting, was hosted by the Southwest Coordinator of the Arewa Community, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibril Sampam and top on the agenda was the continuous sensitization and motivation of Arewa Community members across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun Ondo and Ekiti States, to seize the opportunity of the ongoing continuous voter registration to possess permanent voter cards (PVC), thus, guaranteeing their franchise and Arewa Community Southwest’s projected bloc votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During his opening addresses, Alhaji Shehu Sampam, echoed and applauded the enduring policies of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration, noting that, greater prosperity rather than short term gain was being championed by the APC under Tinubu.
Giving his words on unsubstantiated reports linking northerners doing business in Alaba rago market, with the Labour Party (LP), Sampam, stated that, he was already in touch with opinion leaders in the Alaba rago community, with a view to addressing the false narrative; further describing it as a mischief and an attempt by unscrupulous elements to whip up disaffection in their character as false alarmists
Some of the stakeholders in attendance at the strategic meetings include, Hon Sani Muhammad, a Senior Legislative Aide (SLA), to the Deputy Senate President (DSP, Barau Jibrin Maliya, who came from Oyo state to attend the meeting, Hon Isa Umar, a Special Adviser (S.A) to the Ondo State Governor, Arewa Community grassroot politicians and opinion leaders from Agege local council and Alimosho, the largest Local Government Area in Lagos State.
Rising from the twin deliberations, the Southwest Arewa Community APC stakeholders reaffirmed their unwavering support for Tinubu’s victory at the 2027 presidential elections; we shall deliver bloc votes in the lead to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term win in shaa Allah, concluded Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibril Sampam
