If you’re the first, then you’re a parasite; if you’re the second, then you’re an oasis in a desert.” This wisdom echoes the sentiments of Gibran Khalil Gibran in his 1925 essay, “The New Frontier.”
Similarly, President John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address on January 20, 1961, reminds us: “My fellow citizens, ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”
