It was a celebration of life well spent as the Ojedokun and Ogunmola families honored the passing of Mrs. Afolake Victoria, who passed away at the age of 70, leaving behind a husband, children, and grandchildren. The burial was well-attended by Alimosho’s crème de la crème, with captains of industry and political dignitaries in large numbers.
According to Engr. Olatunji Ojedokun, a sibling to the deceased, “As much as we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, it’s also a joy that she left behind a good family and children who are well-established in their chosen fields. We’ll truly miss her and the memories we shared, but it’s heartwarming that parents leave behind children who’ll forever celebrate their memories.”
“I appreciate everyone who contributed to the burial arrangements since her passing and until the interment and celebration. To my political leaders, business associates, friends, and family, I say thank you for showing up for us.”
The celebration was indeed colorful, classy, and memorable.
