In line with his all-encompassing WISE Agenda, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has continued to demonstrate inclusive governance by supporting various segments of society within the local government area.
As the holy month of Ramadan gradually winds down, the Chairman extended hands of fellowship to the Muslim Ummah across Alimosho by providing a bag of rice alongside cash support to all Central Mosques within the local government. The gesture is intended to support activities during Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Majesty), a significant period of worship observed by Muslims in the final days of Ramadan.
The initiative, according to the Chairman, reflects the administration’s commitment to fostering unity, compassion, and communal support among residents of Alimosho, particularly during important religious periods that emphasize charity and spiritual reflection.
Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson further emphasized that such gestures are not limited to the Muslim community alone. He noted that his administration remains committed to extending similar goodwill and support to adherents of other faiths, including Christian and traditional worshippers, during their respective religious and cultural celebrations.
The Chairman reaffirmed that his government will continue to promote religious harmony, inclusiveness, and community development across Alimosho, ensuring that every group within the local government feels valued and supported.
