The organisation also remains committed to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and promoting the progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking on the appointments, the Global Director General and Convener, Ayodeji Rilwan Tinubu (ART), described the inauguration of the global leadership structure as a strategic milestone in expanding the organisation’s reach and deepening grassroots mobilisation among Lagosians living abroad.
According to him, the newly constituted executive team reflects the organisation’s commitment to inclusiveness, competence, and effective representation across major regions of the world.
The appointments span several countries and strategic directorates, including the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States of America, and Nigeria, covering key areas such as strategic mobilisation, women affairs, legal services, finance and fundraising, media and digital communications, protocol, welfare, diaspora mobilisation, planning, community engagement, and regional coordination.

The organisation noted that the appointments were based on merit, leadership experience, proven commitment to progressive politics, and the capacity of the appointees to effectively coordinate mobilisation efforts within their respective jurisdictions.
Ayodeji Rilwan Tinubu stated that each appointee has been entrusted with the responsibility of expanding the organisation’s membership base, strengthening diaspora participation, promoting civic and political engagement, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring effective communication between supporters at home and abroad.
He further explained that the establishment of country, regional, and functional directorates demonstrates the organisation’s determination to create a coordinated global network capable of supporting grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
“The future of Lagos requires collective commitment from Lagosians both at home and in the diaspora. Our strength lies in our ability to organise, mobilise, and contribute meaningfully to the development of our dear state. Today’s appointments represent another important step in building a global movement that will support the emergence of Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor of Lagos State while advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
The Global Director General congratulated all appointees and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedication, teamwork, integrity, and exemplary service. He also called on Lagosians across the world to join the movement and contribute their expertise, influence, and resources towards building a prosperous, inclusive, and globally competitive Lagos State.
The unveiling of the Global Executive Team marks the beginning of a broader international mobilisation strategy, with additional appointments, country chapters, regional coordinators, and grassroots engagement programmes expected to be announced in the coming months as Lagos Diaspora for Hamzat 2027 continues to expand its global footprint.
