One Sola Olare has been charged before a court over an alleged homosexual act as the Nigeria Police Force continues enforcement operations in the Alimosho area of Lagos State.
According to police sources, Olare was arrested following an investigation and subsequently arraigned before the court. Authorities disclosed that information obtained during the course of the investigation led to the identification of other individuals believed to be connected to the matter.
Police said efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects linked to the case, stressing that the arrest and prosecution of Sola Olare provided investigators with leads that resulted in the declaration of several persons as wanted.
A police source stated that law enforcement agencies remain committed to ensuring that all individuals connected to the investigation are brought before the law, adding that surveillance and intelligence-gathering operations have been intensified.
The individuals currently being sought by the police were identified as Bolakale Johnson, Uche Martins, Olanrewaju Elesin and Bosun Michael. According to investigators, the four were declared wanted following findings made after the arrest and subsequent court arraignment of Sola Olare.
Police authorities appealed to members of the public with credible information regarding the whereabouts of the named individuals to report to the nearest police station or other relevant security agencies.
The police reiterated their commitment to enforcing existing laws and assured the public that further updates would be provided as investigations progress.
