THE CITATION OF MOJEED ADEREMI AFOLABI.
Mojeed Aderemi Afolabi was born on Friday 14th day of March to the family of Alhaji and Mrs J. O. Afolabi at Olorunsogo Mushin, Lagos State of Nigeria. Mojeed’s father is an Accountant, while his mother is a Trader.
He began his elementary education at the prestigious Mayflower Junior School, Ikenne Remo in Ogun State; 1987 – 1992, after his Primary School Certificate Award presentation by Tai Solarin, he proceeded to Community Grammar School, Akowonjo – Lagos between 1993 – 1998 where he started and completed his secondary school education. Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, beckoned Mojeed. Mojeed undergone both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, from 1999 – 2005 respectively.
ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE Mojeed is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant of Nigeria (CIMAN), he joined in 2011 as an Associate Member.
As a young Primary school pupil he was a member of the Stewards and as a Secondary school student; he was the Class coordinator of JSS 2B in 1998.
He was a grass root mobilizer to the core. As an undergraduate in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, because of his penchant for freedom, equity, respect for human rights, dignity for humanity and social justice, he became the Coordinator, Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR, the leading Human Rights Organization in Nigeria) the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Unit between 2001 – 2002. As a Student Unionist Mojeed is the Adviser on Special Matters to the Director of Logistics and Planning, National Association of Nigerian Students ZONE D, South West Zone; 1991 – 2000.
Year 2000 – 2001, He was an Adviser on General Affairs to the National Mobilization officer of NANS. 2003 He became a member of the Joint Campus Committee of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
2004 Mojeed became the President Students’ Union Government of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, defending the defenceless, voice of the voiceless and protecting the Fundamental Human Right of the Student community.
He was the first President to declare his Assets as the President in 2004. He has been Senator of both National Polytechnic Students (NAPS) and National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). 2007 He still stands as an Adviser to NANS President Olalekan Soyombo on Political Matters.
Mojeed is also the current Secretary of Osun State Polytechnic Covid19 Palliative Relief Purse.
WORK & EXPERIENCE
Mojeed is the Management Accountant in Lagos Travel Inn, Ikeja – Lagos. He rose to become the Management Accountant form Duty Manager, Auditor and Head of Accounts from different Hotels respectively. He functioned as a Processor while he was a Banker under the defunct FINBank.
Mojeed rendered his unalloyed service to her mother land in 2006 in Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State and also performed as the Supervisor of National Population Commission (NPC), covering Jobore, Omu – Ijebu, Igbile axis.

He is happily married to Mrs. K. A. Afolabi and blessed with offspring.
POLITICAL ENGAGEMENTS
Mojeed put faith into action by participating and encouraging others to actively participate in political activities. He is a member of one of the strong political parties in Nigeria and he keeps on advocating for good governance, rule of law, transparency and stewardship in the country.
