The Lawmaker representing Alimosho Constituency II, in the Lagos State ninth (9th) House of Assembly, Hon Kehinde Joseph, has congratulated the Chairmen, Vice-chairmen and Councillors elect across the six (6) Local Governments and Council Development Areas in Alimosho Federal Constituency, for making the party proud in the local government elections conducted on Saturday by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission.
Joseph, while congratulating the newly elected council officers, specifically thanked all members and supporters of All Progressives Congress in Alimosho Federal Constituency for voting for candidates of the All Progressives Congress who are expected to run the affairs of local administrations for the next four years in the state.
The Parliamentarian, in a statement issued by his Head of Media & Strategic Communication, Olayiwola Rasheed Jebba Hamilton, called on the officers who have just been elected to see their victory as a call to service by making sure that their campaign promises are delivered within the time frame of their administration.
According to him, the confidence the people of Alimosho Federal Constituency have in the party is as a result of the dividends of democracy being delivered by the Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu-led administration across the entire local governments and council development areas.
“The chairmen and councilors will only make the party proud by working in their respective local government and council areas to complement efforts of our hard working and People’s Governor, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu,” he said.
Hon Kehinde Joseph also reassured the people of Alimosho Federal Constituency that the party will continue to deliver on her promises at all levels of governments.
He said: “People of Alimosho Federal Constituency and by extension, Lagos State have not regretted voting for the governorship candidate of our great party in the last general election as he has turned out to be one of the best governor in the country.
“I hereby call on our newly council officers to emulate Governor Sanwo-Olu who has continued to make us proud in the State by replicating his efforts in their council areas,” he concluded.
