Otunba Kehinde Almoroof (Kendoo), the newly sworn-in chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, yet again made another history as créme de la créme of Lagos State all converged for his inaugural ceremony.
The ceremony which was held at the Secretariat of the council had in attendance strong and influencial personalities from all works of life.
Some of the personalities present included the Lagos State chief of staff (represented by Alhaji Jide Oki), Babaloja General of Oshodi (Provida), Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Iyaloja General of Oshodi, His Royal majesty, Oba Elewu of Ewu-land, His Royal majesty, Oba Ifakayode of Olu-Igbogun, chairmen of Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs, Council manager, state APC executives, Oshodi Apex leader, Pa. Olabintan, MHR, Dr. Bashir Dawodu, Mandate leader, Elder Olorunoje, Elder M.A. Salako (JP), to mention but a few.
While addressing the attendees, the new chairman appreciated all and sundry for their supports during the electioneering period. He specially thanked his brother, the chairman of Lagos State NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (Mc Oluomo), for his various assistance and unflinching support.He however said he understands the fact that the residents of Oshodi are angry due to the present state of infrastructures within the local council. He promised that the new administration will endeavour to put things in proper perspective.
He promised to give in his very best by working assiduously in making sure that the campaign promises are fulfilled, thereby easing the pains and agonies of Oshodi residents.
One of the attendees testified to the fact that Kendoo hit ground running as the local government has began to witness new projects, immediately Otunba Kehinde Oloyede was sworn in.
