Sizzly hot Amala to be served with gbegiri and ewedu among others, while Apala’ music breezes into your ears.
OKUN Alimosho, a talk-of-the-town youth circle initiative is about ready to host it’s rooted-in-culture food exhibition event tagged ‘Amala pade Apala’.
Amala is a popular Yoruba meal mostly enjoyed with efo-riro, okro soup, and at best, with ewedu and one gbegiri. Apala is a kind of old age music of the Yoruba people which though has been overshadowed by modern music, but still retains its rich traditional feel and appeal.
The Okun Alimosho event will have on display frican dishes for everyone to enjoy while sweet Apala’ music breezes sonorously into our hearing.
The event is said to hold on the 3rd of October, 2021 at Kelly Ann Event Centre at Aderenle Street, off Ogunlana Street, Egbeda.
Food, music, games, are special features of the day and expectedly, Amala will be served. N1000, N5000, N10,000 are ticket fees for Regular, VIP, and VVIP respectively.
