A gang of daredevil robbers suspected to be perpetrating series of crimes along the Ojota-Mile 12 corridor, who, on Sunday 10th October, 2021, escaped arrest by the whiskers, from the surveillance and anti traffic robbery team of the Lagos state Rapid Response Squad (RRS), have been assured to get apprehended in no distant future by the commander of the agency, CSP Saheed Olayinka Egbeyemi.
The criminals who were been closely monitored by the RRS men, as they hibernated around Mr.Biggs in Mile 12, took to their heels on sighting the advancing operatives, leaving behind a locally made pistol and a live cartridge, that were immediately recovered.
The commander has, however, assured residents and commuters that, the unit will not rest on it oars, thus, routine decoy patrols will be sustained as directed by the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, towards decimating all shades of criminal activities along the route and across all jurisdictions.
