Ehi-Kings Real Estate and Construction Company on Thursday 21st October, 2021. donated five traffic warden shelters to the Lagos State Police Command.
The Executive Director of the company, Bethel Ehikioya, handed over the philanthropic gesture to Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Akeem Odumosu, at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
Ehikioya said, “We have made it the mandate of our 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility to empower the Nigeria Police in whatever way we can as they continue to serve and protect lives and property of the Nigerian citizenry.”
She told Odumosu and other high ranking police officers that the company also presented 10 traffic warden booths on October 1 to the Area J Police Command at Elemoro in felicitation of the nation’s 61st Independence Day celebration.
“It is our sincerest hope that our donation of these traffic booths will further aid the police in easing the flow of traffic while providing shade from harsh weather conditions,” she said.
Odumosu praised Ehi-Kings management and promised that the shelters would be put to good use towards easing traffic congestion in the state.
In his reaction, the commissioner of police said, ” For you to have done this to support the police shows you appreciate what the police is doing in Lagos state. We really appreciate this gesture because shelter is also important to traffic officers in discharging their duties. Thank you very much.”
