In the furtherance of the pursuit of his legislative function to give quality representation to his people, sparing no effort and with deep passion, the Lawmaker representing the good people of Alimosho Constituency II, also doubles as the Chairman House Committee on Agriculture, in the ninth (9th) Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Kehinde Olaide Joseph had influenced the construction of the wooden link bridge in his Constituency due to the well articulated and overwhelming motion he moved on the floor of the House for the urgent construction of the wooden link bridge by the State Government and it relevant agencies to link the feeder roads between Abegunrin, Idowu-Egba, Pako community to Ketu community of Egbe-Idimu and Ayobo respectively.
The idea behind this move according to Hon Joseph is to boost the overall economic activities and ease the movement of the people of that area as the wooden and locally constructed bridge had suffered neglect since decades of its existence and had brought untold hardship to the people.
Hon Joseph in his speech stated that, “our people are not asking for too much, they only need little support on their own and the quest to create this support through my strategic engagement with the State Government is what I was elected by our people to work on.
“Here is our ongoing effort to connect Abegunrin, Idowu-Egba, Pako and Ketu communities with a bridge because it’s in our effort to strengthen the economy by deliberately filling the infrastructural gap which will help activate and expand the economic activities within and around our communities.
“When this bridge is connected properly, those within this part of the community can access the other community within few minutes instead of what it’s used to be.
“Urban/Rural Development will fuel economic growth and we are mindful of this reality”, he stressed.
