Pan Nigerian movement, TeamNigeria4change has congratulated the candidate of the All progressives Congress (APC) , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on being elected as the candidate of the party,calling on Nigerians to elect him in the forthcoming general election next year for the development of the country.
The congratulatory message was contained in a press release signed the National Coordinator of the group, Chief Bestman Nze Jumbo and made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday.
The movement described the former Lagos state Governor as “an astute politician with experience in finance which will be brought to bear on the country’s finances.”
According to the group” on behalf of the National leadership and members of TeamNigeria4change all over the country,I wish to congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as candidate of our party,the APC. He is a detrabilized Nigerian,an astute politician,diligent administrator and above all a talent hunter for development. His track records as senator where he joined forces with progressive politicians to resist military rule is enough to earn him the ticket,not to talk about his giant strides as Governor of the most populous state in the country, Lagos. As Governor,he turned around the fortunes of the state positively. So we need a man with such credentials and many more as President to reset the country on the path of greatness. He will transform the country,that is very certain “.
“Based on his track record of achievements,we are soliciting for support for him as Nigeria requires his vast knowledge to develop transform the country, we shall kickstart the mobilization immediately, across the country ” the group said.
The movement also thanked the president, Muhammadu Buhari for his fatherly roles before,during and after the primary election,describing him “as a great leader with the love of the country at heart “,stressing that he will not be forgotten by Nigerians.
The movement lastly equally used the opportunity to appeal to all the aspirants who lost out to the candidate to forget about the contest and rally round him to ensure victory for him and the party in the next election.
