It’s clear that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step, my service as the councillor representing Agbado, Oke-Odo, Ward ‘D’ started on a good note in the last 366 days of active efforts geared towards making the best for the young and old in Ward ‘D’.
Promises made for good work subsist – and – together with my colleagues, we hope to continue with the work of making government responsive to the needs of the people.
The last 12 – month did not lapse without notable achievements as your representative.
The office was able to achieve the followings;
☑️ Active participation in the emergence of the Leader of the House of the 5th Legislative Arm of Agbado Oke -Odo LCDA.
☑️ Series of motions were raised and supported on the floor of the House.
☑️ Partnering with AMA YOUTH for free medical health care for residents of the ward.
☑️ Teaching of public primary school Pupils as part of my community service to reinstate my commitment to quality education.
☑️ Obtaining of 30 UTME forms to indigent students seeking admission into higher institutions.
☑️ Obtaining of free GCE forms to three indigents students.
☑️ Active engagement in Community services.
☑️ Purchased a- two big Whiteboard for Army children’s school at Abule- Egba.
☑️ Organising of Weekly – Free fitness training exercise.
☑️ Time to time encouragement of political participation.
The above-abridged achievements cannot be attained without the support of everyone that made up of ward ‘D’.
It is therefore sacrosanct to request the continuous support of all and sundry towards making the latter days better than the former.
Martin Luther King JR once said, ” There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right”.
My conscience keeps telling me to do what is right, for God is always right.
Serving you all is my mandate, and I will surely do that to my best.
To continue to serve the good people of this Ward is my utmost objective.
Happy 366 days of transformation to the great people of Agbado Oke-Odo, Ward D.
