The women wing of the APC professionals council was officially inaugurated at National Merit House, Abuja on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
The event witnessed the attendance of personalities, the Special Adviser on Media, Tunde Rahman( representative of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu), The Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, Hajia Asia Ahmed El-Rufai, First Lady of Kaduna State, the APC National Women Leader, Dr. Betta Edu and the APC professionals council Director general , Amb Seyi Bamigbade amongst other important dignitaries .
The Director, Women’s wing of the council, Ronke Soyombo said the country will be missing a lot if the women are not given opportunity to be part of the country’s decision-making.
She added that the women are not confrontational but advocating that they should be given a level playing field to serve their fatherland.
The council s women wing in Lagos state were fully represented at the inauguration, they were led by the Lagos coordinator, *Rt. Hon Bola Badmus -Olujobi*, the former deputy speaker of Lagos state house of assembly.
