The Supervisor for Budget and planning in Ayobo Ipaja LCDA of Lagos State, Hon.Mrs. Azeezat Odubajo Owonla doled out cash gift of five thousand naira each to selected residents and members of the All progressives congress from Ayobo – Ipaja LCDA, as support for family needs.
Omo – Owo, has fondly called said ” it is not until you have all the millions or billions of naira that you can start helping the less privileged,you can start now with the little you have. Looking back from where I was coming from, it is incumbent on me to give back to the society. Today, I have started this ‘family needs’ support programme with just sixty persons picked from party – and – none party members, this next one will be bigger than this God willing.”
“Though, this is a token but I am very sure it will go along way in solving some immediate needs of the family. If I have more than this, I will surely do, rest assured. Please, do accept the token from me.”
“I am actually doing this to show appreciation to God almighty for all of His blessings over me and my family. I am indeed grateful.”she said.
“Also, It would be a trait of an ungrateful being if I fail to thank and appreciate all my political leaders, thanks so very much for the advice and words of encouragement every now and then, may God bless you all.”
The cash donation was done in the presence of party leaders, party members, taditional rulers, and the immediate past Chairman of Ayobo -Ipaja LCDA, Hon.Shakiru Yusuf.
