“Asiwaju is the only presidential candidate with track records amongst all ~ Luqman Orelope
“Do not let anybody deceive you with being an Awori with PDP ticket, we are fully for the APC and Asiwaju”, stated Oba Kabiru Adelaja.
The Awori Progressives’ Assembly – an assemblage of the indigenes of Lagos State has thrown its weight behind the All Progressives Congress and her candidates from the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the re-election bid of the Governor of Lagos state and all other candidates of the party.
According to Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello-Obe, “This endorsement is in recognition of the developmental strides that the ruling political party, APC, in Lagos State, has brought to the center of excellence over time. Moreso, this is the first time in the history of the state when any Progressives Party has considered our own stock as Party Chairman. The choice of our leader, Hon. Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi for the first position in the party structure is a welcomed one. Some of us have also been presented as candidates for Senate, House of Representatives, and state Assembly”.
“We have the conviction that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the presidential election slated for 25th of February, if we come together and work as a team. Lagos can lead the nation for the first time. We should not relent until success is achieved and this we should replicate during the 11th of March, Governorship & State Assembly election”, said Obe.
The candidate of the Party in Alimosho constituency’01, Hon. Luqman Olatunji Orelope further opined, “Asiwaju is the only presidential candidate with track records amongst all of them. Others are just flouting – ‘I will, I will’, but the situation on ground and the man that Nigerians need currently is a man with the mantra – ‘I have done, ‘I did’. Prettily, the only man amongst the long list of presidential candidates with that, is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
The Osolo of Osolo, Oba Kabiru Adelaja said, “This election is actually a time for us to prove that we are Lagosians and we must do within our means legally to ensure the presidency comes to Lagos. This is our time”.
