The Lagos State Youth from different political and nonpolitical organizations admiringly endorsed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria, Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the governor re-elect and all other APC candidates across the nation.
The Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Development, Olusegun Dawodu spoke about his sojourn in politics and how Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been instrumental to his success as a young commissioner in Lagos state. He stated how Asiwaju is a man who is keen on youth development and societal growth. He implored the youth to strongly support the dream of Asiwaju by massively voting for him during the general election, not excluding the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the governor of Lagos state. Sanwo-Olu. He opined that the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be an inclusive one by empowering the youth to positively sustain the future.
Barrister Tokunbo Lawal, SA to the Governor on Education and Tubosun Alake, SA to the Governor on Science and Technology concordly expressed how Asiwaju spotted great minds to build Lagos state, which gave it an international recognition, attracting investments to grow the state.
Secretary to the Lagos APC Campaign Committee, Ogboni Fouad Oki clearly said, “As youth, you should know that there is nothing like tomorrow, but today. Anything you want to do must begin today and now. Positively engage in politics to take us out of his seat and grow the society, for if you don’t, we the aged will continue to control your affairs. Asiwaju is here to pave the way for you. Hence, make sure you vote for him and other APC candidates, and equally mobilize other fellow youth to do the same and”.
Youth from different bodies enthusiastically displayed their support and shared with the audience, the reason for the endorsement of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next Nigerian president. They expressed how his vision productively influenced their lives and hope he would do more as the president.
Albeit, while engaging with the press, Oluwagbenga Abiola, the Executive Vice Chairman of Agege Local Government Area succinctly opined on how the visionary input of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos state created a clean state with the emergence of LAWMA, provision of strong security outfits and consistent empowerment of the youth. He urged the youth to give their all in supporting Asiwaju to become the next president, as it would be more impactful in lives of the youth and the nation at large.
