In a viral video making the rounds, where an igbo lady made an apology on behalf of the igbos affirming the fact that Lagos is part of yoruba land, and asked for forgiveness on behalf of those saying it was no mans land, had Hon Bayo Adefuye as the only male in the video.
Hon Adefuye, a Deputy Director of an ICC directorate and a permanent board member of subeb,explained that the gesture was in line with the directive of the president elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on starting the healing process, and the greater Lagos rising vision of Mr Babajide Sanwoolu that the administration would rise above hatred and vindictiveness,and Lagos would continue to welcome all tribes , no matter the part of the country they come from.
The gesture was symbolic in bringing about peaceful coexistence and promote the welcoming nature of the Yorubas , who were described as the most accommodating tribe in Nigeria.
He stated that though yorubas were accommodating but should not be taken for granted
He called for peace amongst all tribes and that we should all join hands in unity to work with the President elect, *Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu* and the second term of Mr Babajide Sanwoolu who he said would change the country ,and move Lagos to greater heights respectively.
