105 motorcycles, were on Monday July 15, 2024, seized by the Lagos State Taskforce during Okada ban enforcement operation along the Lasu-Iyana-Iba corridor.
The operation, represents part of a multi-pronged work plan of the agency under new chairman, CSP Akerele Adetayo; with the latest action, intended to send a strong warning signal to recalcitrant motorcycle operators, to desist from plying prohibited routes as pronounced by the Lagos State government.
The agency, has in the wake of a new leadership under CSP Akerele, carried out enforcement operations, including arrest and impoundment of private and commercial vehicles for traffic law violation, arrests and prosecution of street traders and now Okada ban operations.
The Taskforce Chairman, has reiterated the resolve to sustain all round enforcement across the state, in a determined effort to bring about general environmental sanity in Lagos.
