A total of 57 vehicles and tricycles combined, were on Friday, August 23, 2024, impounded by men of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit, in an operation carried out at Iyana Ipaja to enforce Lagos State traffic regulations as contained in the Lagos State Reformed Traffic Law book 2018 as amended.
The operation which is the second in the location under two months, serves to reaffirm the determination of the agency’s leadership to ensure total compliance with Lagos traffic laws with a view to permanently decongest and ensure sustainable free flowing traffic in the axis.
The agency led by the chairman, CSP Akerele Adetayo had in June, carried out an operation at the same location to sanitize the area, warning the motoring public especially commercial transporters plying the routes to adhere to the Lagos State traffic regulations always, reiterating that, the enforcement was going to be continuous across the State
