The Lagos Akowonjo Lions Club has embarked on a new chapter with the installation of its 26th President, Lion (Barr.) Ayo Olugbenro. This milestone coincides with the club’s Silver Jubilee celebration, marking 25 years of dedicated service to the community.
During the investiture ceremony, President Olugbenro outlined her vision for the club’s future. “This year’s service shall be guided by three strategic priorities,” she declared. “Firstly, we will support and strengthen our club, ensuring a solid foundation for our endeavors.”
“Our second priority,” she continued, “is to focus and increase our humanitarian service. We will intensify our efforts to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.” This commitment to community service is at the core of the Lions Club’s mission.
President Olugbenro also emphasized the importance of enhancing the club’s public image and awareness. “We must showcase our accomplishments and values to inspire others to join our cause,” she said. “By doing so, we will attract like-minded individuals and organizations to support our humanitarian endeavors.”
As the Lagos Akowonjo Lions Club begins this new chapter, President Olugbenro’s leadership and strategic vision are poised to propel the organization toward even greater heights. “Together, we will make a difference in our community,” she concluded. With these three priorities guiding the club’s efforts, the next year promises to be a remarkable one for the Lagos Akowonjo Lions Club.
