Dear People of Igando Ikotun lcda,Alimosho.
DECLARATION OF MY INTENTION TO RUN FOR THE OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF OUR BELOVED LOCAL GOVERNMENT.
After wide consultations with my political family and stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), I have resolved to offer myself to serve as the next chairman of our local government,come 2025. My decision is focused on bringing development and support to our community and people.
I believe our Local Government can grow from dependence on Federal allocations to a huge revenue generating one. Our Council needs a proactive manager of human and resources capable of rediscovering our greatness by maximizing our potentials and instituting a culture of sustainable growth.
To address traffic congestion, I propose retracing the steps of having motor park garages within the local government, traffic lights and sign posts where needed. Grants will be available to support the artisans, market men and women, and periodical empowerment will be sacrosanct.
I also plan to:
– Improve Healthcare and Education
– Strengthen Security and Youth engagement
– Support inter-School Activities
– Provide Free Coaching Classes , GCE and JAMB Forms
– Ensure Functional Clinics and Security in all Schools
– Enhance the Local Government Secretariat’s Working Atmosphere
– Construct & Maintain Roads, Link Roads and Streets with Functional Lights
The foregoing are some of my dreams for a greater Local Government,which I am also sure forms part of your bigger dreams. Hence, the need for the collaboration of ideas, for which I am seeking for your approval and support for my aspiration. This is not an ambition merely to occupy a political office but a strong willed for selfless services to the people.
Through this letter, I am communicating my sincere intention which is targeted and aimed at rediscovering our collective dreams and ensure its realization. I seek your positive disposition and encouragement towards achieving this goals.
I shall, as a youth who is conscious of my background and future, promise to live up to my words and back it up with actions through practical performances and ensure that our great party’s manifesto is actualized at the council level and also put in place an enduring and sustainable council programs for the people.
