HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, Chairman of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community and Sarki Overall of Alimosho, Lagos State, in a special message of commendation released on Monday, September 7, 2024, declared the Alimosho Arewa Community Chieftaincy Council’s full support for the Education for All Initiative of Professor Adamu Gwarzo, the president of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN).
Speaking while on a special visit to the office of the academic, Sarki Overall, described Professor Gwarzo’s plan and projection to educate 5 million less privileged Nigerians in the nearest future as audacious and unequalled.
The royal symbol added that, Professor Gwarzo, has over the last decade, demonstrated an uncommon passion for social contribution, geared towards human capital development for a better society.
Said he, I commend the various scholarship initiatives activated by professor Adamu Gwarzo and call on well meaning individuals and entities to borrow a leaf from the humanitarian academic, adding that, Nigeria, Africa and the world at large, will become largely better adopting the education for all ideology as promoted by Professor Gwarzo
