The Lagos State Body of Seriki Hausawas, an umbrella body of Northern traditional chiefs resident across the five administrative divisions of Lagos, has expressed appreciation for the large volume of groceries, it received from the Lagos State Government, as year end package for their families and relatives.
The package, including 50kg bags of Rice, Cartons of Vegetable Oils and numerous live Chickens, was handed out to the Coordinator and Secretary of the royal body, HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, the Sarki Overall of Alimosho and Ibrahim Abubakar Jagaba, on Tuesday, 24, December, 2024, through the office of the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Chief Tayo Akinmade Ayinde.
Commenting after receiving the goodies, coordinator of the royal body and Sarki Overall of Alimosho, HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, described the gesture as a massive cushion that was sure to relieve recipients of the prevailing economic fever most of them are grappling with.
Lending his voice, the Secretary of the body, Ibrahim Abubakar Jagaba, averred that, the Lagos State Government, through the office of the Chief of Staff to Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, has over a long period of time, continued to extend the hand of fellowship and inclusiveness to the Lagos State Body of Seriki Hausawas, which he said, practically signposts the excellence and uncommon traits of the Lagos State leadership style for decades.
