Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, on Tuesday, 14th January 2025, in her Alausa office, met with the CEO and team of Empire Publishing and Distribution, USA. led by Mr. Ghazi Shami, to discuss areas of collaboration and support for the Creative Industry, which took centre stage on building capacity within the country, talent sourcing, production, distribution, and management.
This bold step will particularly encourage a Cultural exchange program in the Industry between the US and Nigeria, especially in areas of music and music education, while promoting an Music Academy in partnership with prestigious institutions in the USA.
