The First Lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu has described the Late AFENIFERE chieftain as a political leader.
She stated this when she paid a condolence visit to his Lekki, Lagos residence.
She expressed gladness that she was able to see the late elder statesman shortly before passed on. While praying for the repose of his soul and that God keep his widow and family, the First Lady emphasized that despite political affiliation, Late Chief Ayo Abebanjo was still family.
In his remarks the son of the late AFENIFERE leader Femi, thanked the First Lady and noted that the visit was heart warming.
The First Lady privately met with the widow, Chief Mrs Christiana Anoko Ayo ADEBANJO also at the residence.
Late Chief Ayo Adebanjo died on the 14th of February at the age of 96 years.
